A highly regarded, independent accountancy practice in North London is looking to appoint an ambitious Accounts Senior to join its growing team. The firm works with an impressive and varied client base including owner-managed businesses, international groups and a number of well-known clients within the music and entertainment sector. With an experienced and hands-on partner group and a collaborative office culture, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of assignments, gain exposure to complex and interesting work, and build long-term relationships with creative industry clients while progressing your career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
Role Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS102-1A.
- Supporting clients with management accounts and financial reporting where required.
- Working with a range of clients including businesses and individuals within the music and entertainment industry.
- Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing guidance and mentoring.
- Ensuring assignments are delivered within agreed deadlines and budgets.
- Building strong relationships with clients and identifying opportunities to add value.
Personal Requirements
- ACA / ACCA qualified or approaching qualification.
- Strong experience in accounts preparation within an accountancy practice.
- Good working knowledge of FRS102 and FRS102-1A.
- Experience working with music, media or entertainment clients would be advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple assignments effectively.
- A motivated individual who takes ownership and pride in delivering high-quality work.
