We are working with a forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Sheffield, known for providing excellent support and guidance to clients across various industries. The firm values a collaborative and progressive working environment and is now looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join their dynamic team.
As an Accounts Semi Senior, you will support the preparation of financial accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enhance their skills and gain exposure to a variety of industries while working in a supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns and bookkeeping.
- Supporting clients with management accounts and resolving queries.
- Assisting with audits as required.
- Liaising with clients to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
The ideal candidate will be working towards or recently qualified in their AAT qualification or studying towards ACCA/ACA. Prior experience within an accountancy practice is essential. Strong IT and accounting software skills, alongside excellent attention to detail and communication skills, are also key.
