Accounts Manager / Assistant Manager Southsea, Portsmouth £55,000 – £57,000 We are now supporting an established Portsmouth based accountancy practice that is looking for a manager or assistant manager to join their outsourcing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join and help shape a growing team in one of most exciting and varied roles in accountancy. Key responsibilities will include: * Providing leadership to the team as part of the manager group, supported by, and reporting to, the service line head and the wider partner group. * Managing a portfolio of clients, including planning, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior colleagues. * Management reporting, analysis and interpretation against key performance indicators, discussing these with clients to assist them in operational and strategic decision making. * Working with clients on projects and short-term engagements, including designing and implementing Xero-based finance systems. * Working with the team to develop innovative solutions and deliver excellent client service.
