Butler Rose public practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established and prominent firm of chartered accountants based in the heart of Wimbledon that are keen to recruit an ambitious AAT Accounts & Audit Trainee / Assistant to complement the existing team.
Role Requirements:- Support a diverse client portfolio (LTD Co.s, sole traders and partnerships) spanning various industries and of differing turnovers.
- Preparation of Year End financial statements in accordance with FRS102-1A and FRS105 using IRIS accounting software.
- Computations for corporation tax CT600 returns and submission to the HMRC.
- Preparing personal tax SA100 returns for self-employed and high net worth individuals.
- Producing quarterly VAT returns and submitting these to the HMRC.
- Supporting with audit assignments to include sampling and testing both virtually and onsite.
- Utilising cloud-based software such as XERO, Quickbooks and Sage50 for accounting tasks as required by clients.
- AAT qualified or Level 4 studying with at least 1 years' experience in accountancy practice in a trainee/assistant role.
- Practical exposure to accounts preparation and corporation tax.
