A forward-thinking, modern accountancy practice is seeking a Supervisor to join their growing digital finance team at an exciting stage of development. This is a varied, client-facing role working closely with business owners to deliver management accounts, advisory support, and modern cloud-based finance solutions. You will also work alongside senior leadership to help shape new service lines, improve internal processes, and support the wider adoption of systems, automation, and AI. The role offers genuine scope to influence how services evolve as the business continues to grow.
Role Responsibilities
- Produce accounts and management accounts, delivering clear and practical financial insight.
- Work directly with business owners on budgeting, cash flow, planning, and decision-making.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of cloud accounting systems.
- Improve internal processes, workflows, and client experience across the practice.
- Support the responsible use of AI and automation within finance processes.
- Mentor and support junior team members and trainees.
- Assist with workflow management during periods of absence alongside senior leadership.
- Contribute to the development of new advisory services and digital finance offerings.
- Support the business at external events, exhibitions, and networking activity.
Personal Requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / AAT or equivalent).
- Strong experience in management accounts and client-facing finance work.
- Confident communicator able to engage with business owners clearly and professionally.
- Experience with cloud accounting tools such as Xero, Zoho, or similar.
- Interest in automation, systems development, and AI in accounting.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to take ownership within a growing environment.
- Strong mentoring and collaborative approach to team development.
