Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a friendly and long-established independent accountancy practice in the recruitment of a Client Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on practice professional to manage their own portfolio while working within a close-knit team environment. The role would suit either an experienced Client Manager or a Senior Accountant who can hit the ground running and is looking to take on a diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a client portfolio, primarily sole traders and limited companies, OMBs and SMEs
- Prepare and review accounts, personal tax returns, VAT, CIS, bookkeeping, and MTD requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong long-term relationships
- Support onboarding of new clients and oversee client billing
- Manage and support a small team of junior staff
- Work across cloud-based accounting software platforms
Key Requirements
- ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE
- Strong experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Confident managing client relationships and onboarding new clients
- Experience across accounts, personal tax, VAT, bookkeeping, and CIS
- Knowledge cloud accounting systems
- Organised, approachable, and hands-on in your working style
- Comfortable managing and mentoring junior staff
- Excellent client-facing skills and communication
