Temporary Part-Time Accounts Assistant in Truro | 20 hours per week | £14-£15 per hour
Butler Rose is delighted to be working with a well-established organisation in Truro to recruit a Temporary Part-Time Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for flexible hours within a supportive finance team.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance operations, with responsibilities including:
- Purchase Ledger processing and supplier statement reconciliations
- Managing Accounts Receivable, including monitoring and chasing aged debt
- Assisting with payroll processing and related administration
- Supporting month-end procedures, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- General finance and accounting support as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
- Strong working knowledge of purchase ledger and reconciliations
- Experience with accounts receivable / credit control
- Payroll experience (end-to-end or support level)
- Confidence assisting with month-end processes
- Good attention to detail and the ability to manage your workload independently
