A leading, regional accountancy practice is seeking a motivated and ambitious professional to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with previous experience in an accountancy practice environment who is looking to build on their existing knowledge while progressing towards a professional qualification. Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting the preparation and review of statutory financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
  • Assisting with the production of management accounts, including analysis, commentary, and financial forecasting.
  • Supporting personal and corporate tax compliance work, including preparation of tax returns and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships across a varied portfolio.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high standards of client service and meet deadlines.
  • Undertaking accounts preparation work and supporting wider client service delivery.

Personal Requirements

  • Studying towards ACCA or ACA, or AAT qualified as a minimum.
  • Previous experience within an accountancy or finance environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Personable with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Able to use initiative and adapt to technology‑driven ways of working.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office, with experience of Xero or other cloud accounting software advantageous.
