Role Responsibilities

  • Supporting the preparation and review of statutory financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
  • Assisting with the production of management accounts, including analysis, commentary, and financial forecasting.
  • Supporting personal and corporate tax compliance work, including preparation of tax returns and meeting deadlines.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines and contribute to a professional team environment.
  • Undertaking and reviewing accounts preparation work as directed.

Personal Requirements

  • Partway through ACCA or ACA studies, or AAT qualified as a minimum.
  • Previous experience within an accountancy or finance environment.
  • Strong analytical and interpretation skills.
  • Confident building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative, particularly in the use of technology.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office and ideally experienced with Xero and other cloud accounting software packages.
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to continue developing professionally.
