This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in shaping the future success of an established practice.
You'll take a lead role in strengthening the practice at site level, driving operational excellence, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring clients continue to receive an exceptional level of service.
- Role Requirements -
- Provide strong leadership and direction across the practice.
- Take overall responsibility for day-to-day site operations and performance.
- Lead, coach and develop the team, creating a high-performance culture.
- Manage employee performance, development and engagement.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients.
- Support client retention, growth and business development.
- Ensure consistently high standards of service and technical quality.
- Maintain effective governance, risk management and compliance processes.
- Ensure the practice operates in accordance with relevant UK accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology and ways of working.
- Monitor operational and financial performance against agreed objectives.
- Work closely with senior leadership to deliver the wider growth strategy.
- Act as a visible ambassador for the firms values and client-first approach.
- Role Requirements -
- ACA, ACCA qualified
- Solid and well-rounded experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing teams.
- Experience of coaching, developing and managing employee performance.
- Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP.
- Good understanding of Companies Act requirements and HMRC compliance.
