Butler Rose are excited to be representing a well-established and successful firm of chartered accountants in Basingstoke. This is a consultative firm who pride themselves on nurturing strong client relationships and providing a personalised service. Due to this, their client base is growing and they are keen to recruit a Qualified Accountant who can take on a portfolio of complex accounting clients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Statutory accounts preparation for a diverse range of clients.
- Preparation of corporation tax and submission of CT600's to the HMRC.
- Experience in completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
- Attend client meetings and liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Effectively manage time to ensure work is completed within agreed time and budget.
Person Requirements:
- At least 2+ years' experience working in a UK based accountancy practice.
- ACA/ACCA Qualified - Although nearly qualified will be considered.
- Current knowledge of statutory accounting, corporation/personal tax and VAT.
- Excellent communication skills and adept at developing and maintaining strong working relationships.
