Butler Rose is partnering with our large Facilities Management client in the search for a Fleet Savings Reporting Analyst to join their finance team. This is a temporary role until 2027, offering hybrid working (one day per week in their Northampton office) and paying up to £500 per day PAYE.

Role Overview

The Fleet Savings Reporting Analyst will support the delivery of the fleet savings programme through high-quality reporting, analysis, and validation of savings outcomes. This role will work closely with the Fleet Business Partner and senior finance leadership, producing clear, board-ready insight from complex and often incomplete data sets. The role is suited to a highly analytical finance professional who can bring structure to ambiguity, quantify savings across multiple overlapping initiatives, and produce decisive, credible reporting from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly reporting and detailed analysis of fleet savings performance.
  • Calculate, validate, and track savings to support MGX reporting cycles.
  • Work closely with the Fleet Business Partner to support delivery of the fleet savings agenda.
  • Bring structure and clarity to complex, overlapping savings initiatives with incomplete data.
  • Identify, quantify, and clearly articulate savings opportunities and outcomes.
  • Produce board-level reporting packs of a consistently high standard, suitable for senior review.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, robust, and aligned with agreed financial frameworks.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
  • Strong experience in data analysis, financial modelling, and structured reporting.
  • Proven track record producing board-level reporting packs to a high standard.
  • Comfortable working with incomplete or messy data sets and drawing clear conclusions.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and a decisive reporting style.
  • Experience supporting savings or cost-reduction programmes is highly desirable.
