Butler Rose are working exclusively with a brilliant business in Warrington who are looking for a confident and experienced Payroll Manager to take full ownership of payroll operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a standalone role where you'll be trusted to run the entire payroll function, make improvements, and truly make it your own.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running the end-to-end payroll process with accuracy and confidence
- Processing salaries, bonuses, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.)
- Managing starters, leavers, and all payroll changes
- Ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations, including RTI submissions
- Being the go-to expert for payroll queries across the business
- Handling pension contributions and liaising with providers
- Supporting year-end processes (P60s, P11Ds where required)
- Working closely with HR and Finance to keep everything running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a standalone or senior payroll role
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
- Confident using payroll systems (Sage, ADP, or similar)
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
