Are you an experienced Corporate Tax professional looking for your next career move? We are partnering with a well-respected independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in the heart of Manchester, to find a talented Corporate Tax Manager to join their growing team.
My client has a strong reputation for delivering expert tax advice across a wide range of clientsâfrom sole traders and start-ups to large corporate entities and multi-million-pound businesses. Due to their continued success and expansion, they are now seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to help drive the firmâs tax services forward.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a varied portfolio of corporate clients, including OMBs, SMEs, and larger corporate groups.
- Oversee corporate tax compliance, ensuring timely submissions of tax returns, including quarterly instalment payments and client advice.
- Provide expert guidance on tax planning matters, such as corporate structuring, R&D tax relief, capital allowances, and other incentives.
- Act as a liaison with HMRC, handling tax risk and compliance issues on behalf of your clients.
- Work on complex advisory projects, including tax due diligence, share valuations, and international tax matters.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their technical growth and progression.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for all tax-related queries.
- ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
- At least 5 years of experience in corporation tax within a professional services environment.
- Strong analytical and problemâsolving skills, with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and a portfolio of clients autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- A passion for mentoring and developing junior talent.
