Salary: £30-£40k | Location: Lancaster with occasionally remote
Are you an experienced MIS enthusiast with a knack for databases and application development? We are looking for a talented Application Developer & Database Lead to join our team on an immediate 6-month contract. You will play a central role in maintaining and enhancing our management systems, ensuring smooth operations and supporting staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop our MIS under guidance from the Director of IT & Digital Strategy, with input from academic leaders.
- Integrate, develop, and maintain data and processes across platforms including iSAMS and SOCS.
- Support day-to-day iSAMS operations via the IT helpdesk: logging, prioritising, and resolving support cases.
- Liaise with iSAMS Support for advanced troubleshooting and program development, keeping stakeholders updated.
- Handle daily academic and administrative data tasks.
- Administer reports and system rollovers each year.
- Maintain registration systems, provide reports, and deliver insightful analysis.
- Create and update documentation, in-house training materials, and promote effective system use.
- Assist with Portal queries and manage staff system accounts.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
