We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance Transformation to lead the implementation and adoption of Workday ERP (Finance & HCM) across a growing organisation in Exeter. This senior role will act as a key business partner to the CFO, CSO, HR, Operations, and IT, and will be accountable for the successful delivery of a multi-stage finance and people transformation programme.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Workday ERP implementation and integration through go-live and beyond
- Act as senior point of contact for Workday and implementation partners
- Drive finance technology strategy and phase 2 enhancements (planning, budgeting, system integrations)
- Lead transformation across core finance processes (AP, AR, reporting, consolidation, revenue, cash, etc.)
- Ensure strong financial controls, data governance, and segregation of duties
- Deliver training, drive adoption, and embed new ways of working
- Provide integrated financial, HR, and operational reporting to senior leadership
- Proactively manage delivery, commercial, and technology risks
Key skills & experience required
- Experience of working as Senior finance transformation leader
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
- Proven ERP implementation experience (Workday highly desirable)
- Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
- Experience in multinational environments
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change delivery skills
