Independent Accountancy Practice in Dunstable is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA part-qualified professional looking to broaden their experience across multiple service lines while progressing towards managing their own client portfolio. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts and management accounts
- Prepare VAT returns and respond to client queries
- Assist with personal tax returns and tax computations
- Support senior team members across a varied client portfolio
- Assist on audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to a high standard of service
- Work across a range of sectors and service lines to develop technical experience
Key Requirements
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified (AAT qualified and starting ACA/ACCA beneficial)
- Experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Team player with a proactive and positive approach
- Experience with IRIS, Xero, and Sage (FreeAgent beneficial)
