An exciting opportunity is available for Automation Technicians to join a growing manufacturing business with significant investment in automation and advanced manufacturing technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Provide critical technical support to manufacturing operations to minimise downtime of key equipment
- Create, verify, and release robot programs for automated manufacturing cells
- Develop, verify, and release programs for other programmable manufacturing equipment
- Design and deliver tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing processes
- Produce and maintain documentation for automated equipment (SOPs, EMS)
- Support the introduction of new automation and advanced manufacturing equipment
- Assist senior engineers with capital expenditure justifications
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and process improvements
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to monitor and improve OEE
- Manage program storage, data backups, and revision control for manufacturing systems
- Support the implementation of new manufacturing technologies
- Promote and support Environmental, Health
