Are you a hands-on data protection professional looking for an in-house role where you can make an immediate impact? We are looking for a confident, practical Data Protection Advisor to join a small, supportive team. You will be responsible for advising internal stakeholders on GDPR and PECR compliance, managing data subject rights requests, completing Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), supporting due diligence reviews, and assisting with data breach and complaint responses. You will also help maintain policies, procedures, and privacy notices, and contribute to raising data protection awareness across the organisation. This is a practical, advisory-focused role with autonomy - the manager is supportive but prefers to give you the space to take ownership of your work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear, reliable advice on data protection matters across the business
- Handle Data Subject Access Requests (SARs) and rights to erasure
- Conduct Legitimate Interest Assessments and due diligence reviews
- Support with data breach incidents and complaint handling
- Update policies, processes, procedures, and privacy notices
- Help promote data protection awareness internally
What We Are Looking For
