Private Client Tax Manager in Bridgnorth (Hybrid) with a salary of up to £60,000 (Negotiable, depending on experience level). Butler Rose Public Practice is supporting one of our clients who has an opportunity for a Tax Manager to join their growing team.
Role Requirements:
- Manage a portfolio of over 500 clients, including High Net Worth Individuals and Trusts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Oversee and review the preparation of Tax Returns, CGT Returns, IHT forms and various other private client compliance matters, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice on tax matters to clients, resolving any queries or issues they may have.
- Manage the tax department team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery together with appraisal, performance review and manage training needs of the team.
- Provide reports and ensure billing and recovery targets are met for the department.
- Liaise with HMRC and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients, ensuring all necessary forms and returns are submitted accurately and on time.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services to existing clients and develop new business leads.
Personal Requirements:
- A minimum of five years' experience.
- CTA qualified, or equivalent in experience.
- Good understanding of UK tax regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
