I'm supporting an NHS Trust with the appointment of an experienced Interim Finance Manager for an initial 3-month assignment starting in November.
Offering hybrid working with just one day per week in Bicester, this is a great opportunity to add immediate value in a varied finance and governance-focused role.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you'll provide high-quality business partnering across finance and non-finance teams, supporting month-end, budgeting, costing, audit preparation, financial governance and cost improvement plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate management accounts and meet month-end deadlines.
- Provide clear financial reporting, insight and briefings for senior stakeholders.
- Partner with operational, corporate and budget leads to support robust decision-making.
- Support budget setting, forecasting, costing, benchmarking and cost improvement plans.
- Contribute to audit preparation, financial governance and accurate external returns.
- The role may also involve deputising for the Senior Finance Manager, supporting transparent management processes, strengthening external partnerships and helping ensure Trust funds are used effectively and can withstand scrutiny.
