Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established firm in Coventry with the appointment of an Associate Client Advisor. Deliver the firm's vision of improving the quality of life for business owners by providing exceptional support to the clients you manage. Build strong, lasting relationships that drive client retention, satisfaction, and loyalty - creating advocates who actively refer others.
Responsibilities
- Main client contact - Own and manage relationships for your client portfolio.
- Lead client meetings - Chair quarterly reviews, planning sessions, and key discussions.
- Full client insight - Build a holistic understanding of each client's business and personal goals.
- Handle daily queries - Respond promptly to client questions via phone and email.
- Client advocate - Represent client interests internally to achieve the best outcomes.
- Team coordination - Work closely with tax and specialist teams on projects and client matters.
- Spot growth opportunities - Identify client needs and initiate additional service conversations.
- Develop new projects - Scope, define, and create chargeable work that delivers value.
- Mentor junior staff - Support and develop team members toward advisory roles.
- Commercial & professional focus - Understand KPIs, profitability, and cashflow while upholding strong service values and professional standards.
Personal Requirements
- Experience within an accounting role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Excellent client service.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Readiness to learn sales skills to enable upselling to clients.
- Willingness to develop an understanding of key tax matters - corporation tax, personal tax, IHT, CGT etc.
