A well-established, independent accountancy and business advisory firm is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior, Senior, or Assistant Manager to join their business services team. The role focuses on providing accounting and tax support to healthcare clients, particularly owner-managed practices. Role Responsibilities

  • Completing moderate to large accounts preparation assignments, including associated tax computations.
  • Handling complex client queries and providing practical solutions.
  • Reviewing junior team members’ work for accuracy and quality.
  • Coaching and providing feedback to junior staff on work and performance.
  • Managing assignment timelines within pre-determined budgets.

Personal Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA part- or fully-qualified.
  • Experience in a UK accountancy practice preparing statutory accounts and tax computations for healthcare clients, particularly GPs or dental practices.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of VAT, including partial exemption.
  • Strong client-facing skills.
  • Experience using Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks Online.
