The Role
We are currently working with a well-established organisation who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous accounts experience who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with day-to-day accounting duties
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end procedures
- Supporting with payroll preparation (if applicable)
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team
About You
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Good working knowledge of accounting processes
- Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Studying AAT (or willing to study) would be advantageous but not essential
