The Opportunity
Joining a high‑performing team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of accurate and insightful financial information alongside senior stakeholders. This is a varied position offering exposure to management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement, making it ideal for someone keen to progress and build strong technical and commercial expertise. Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts including accruals and prepayments
- Assist with budgeting and reforecasting processes, including detailed variance analysis
- Produce accurate and timely financial reports to support strategic decision‑making
- Complete balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and control
- Support cost analysis initiatives to identify efficiencies and cost‑saving opportunities
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems and processes
- Provide ad‑hoc analysis and support to the wider finance team
The Candidate
- Part‑qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or AAT / QBE (or equivalent), with experience in a similar finance role
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
- Experience working with financial systems (SAP or similar ERP advantageous)
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive, organised and able to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Solid experience within reconciliations, with exposure to balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reporting preferred
- Proven ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
