An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Tax Semi Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Stockport. This is a full-time, permanent role offering the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge, take on more responsibility and build strong client relationships within an experienced Tax team.
The role would suit someone with some practical Personal Tax experience who is keen to progress and develop towards a Senior position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with a portfolio of Personal Tax clients, including company directors, partners, owner-managed business owners and high-net-worth individuals
- Prepare and submit Self Assessment tax returns
- Deal with personal tax compliance matters accurately and within relevant deadlines
- Assist with Capital Gains Tax calculations where required
- Deal with client queries and HMRC correspondence
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Assist with personal tax planning and advisory work
- Support with HMRC enquiries where required
- Work closely with the wider Tax team and colleagues across the practice
- Take on increasing responsibility as your knowledge and experience develops

You'll ideally have some previous Personal Tax experience within an accountancy practice and be looking for an opportunity where you can continue to learn and progress.

WORKING HOURS
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:15pm
