Assembly Operator
Salary: £29,919.58 per annum (including 20% shift premium)
Shift Pattern:
- Alternating weekly shifts, Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm and 2:00pm to 10:00pm
Our client a world-renowned manufacturer with a site in Plymouth is seeking Assembly Operators to join their manufacturing team, assembling precision-engineered hydraulic pumps and motors within a fast-paced production environment.
The Role
- Assemble hydraulic pumps and motors in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure products meet quality and health & safety standards.
- Test hydraulic units to customer specifications following appropriate training.
- Complete production paperwork accurately and on time.
- Achieve hourly production and KPI targets.
- Follow production control procedures at all times.
- Report machine breakdowns and production abnormalities.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and 5S standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Carry out daily quality and production checks.
- Provide flexibility to support production requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
- Ability to work towards production targets.
- Ability to follow written work instructions.
- Experience completing paperwork accurately and on time.
- Flexible and adaptable approach.
- Strong team player.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
