An exciting opportunity for an experienced SME Accountant / Finance Manager to join an established specialist business operating within a prestigious, high-value market.
This is a broad, hands-on finance role combining accounting, month-end, AML/KYC, VAT and compliance with exposure to high-value transactions and specialist royalty payments.
The Role
You will take ownership of a varied finance workload including:
- Day-to-day accounting through to month-end close
- General ledger, reconciliations, supplier invoices and expenses
- Customer invoicing and client/supplier settlements
- AML, KYC, risk assessments and compliance documentation
- VAT, including more complex transactions and treatments
- Administration and calculation of royalty payments
- Supporting improvements to financial processes and controls
- Handling confidential and high-value financial transactions
About You
We are looking for a confident, hands-on accountant who is comfortable working within an SME or owner-managed environment.
ACCA qualification is highly preferred, alongside strong practical accounting experience and demonstrable knowledge of AML/KYC and compliance.
Experience working for an organisation selling prestige, luxury or other high-value products where royalty payments are applicable is highly desirable, but not essential. Experience within art, auctions, galleries or similar specialist markets would also be advantageous.
Sector-specific training will be provided, so the priority is finding someone with the accounting expertise, AML knowledge and SME mindset to make an immediate impact.
Salary: Circa £55,000
Location: London SW1
Working: 5 days per week office based
Start: Must be available to commence by the end of September 2026
