This role involves working with a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, offering genuine autonomy, direct client contact and the opportunity to take increasing responsibility for client relationships. The role would suit someone who enjoys working independently while still having access to support and ongoing professional development. Role Responsibilities Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. Preparing corporation tax returns. Supporting clients with accounting and tax queries. Reviewing bookkeeping records and identifying issues. Working with cloud accounting software, including Xero. Communicating directly with clients and developing long-term relationships. Helping clients understand their financial information and providing practical support. Taking increasing ownership of a portfolio of clients. Working closely with colleagues across accounts, bookkeeping and taxation. Using professional judgement to organise workload and manage deadlines independently. Personal Requirements
