The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

The Grounds Technician is assigned to maintain the Butler grounds, roads, and walkways at the Andover campus locations. This position will also help move furniture and supplies, transport materials between off‑campus sites, and set up for special events. Sometimes assignments will require working in extreme conditions.

Nature of Position: Full Time

Hourly rate of pay: $16.25/hr

Qualifications: The applicant may be requested to authorize the College to procure a consumer report(s) for employment purposes. We regret that the College is unable to sponsor employment Visas or consider individuals on time‑limited Visa status.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to maintain a good working relationship.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work alone.
  • Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and take pride in workmanship.
  • Knowledge of horticulture, carpentry, and general maintenance with a mechanical aptitude.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Must be in good physical health and able to lift 50 lbs. without limitations.
  • Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s license.
  • Must have basic general computer skills.

Required Experience: Prior experience working in lawn care, or similar, is preferred.

Required Educational Background: High School diploma or equivalent is required.
