The Woolpack Inn is a newly refurbished Grade I listed pub with rooms. With a stunning blend of historic charm and modern comfort, we’re reopening with fresh ambition and a renewed focus on exceptional food and genuine hospitality.
Under the leadership of Head Chef Luke, our kitchen celebrates seasonal cooking and local ingredients — many of which come straight from our on-site Market Garden. Our commitment to sustainability and flavour has earned us Two AA Rosettes, and we’re just getting started. As we grow, we’re looking for a talented Commis Chef to join our kitchen brigade.

The Role
As Commis Chef you will work closely with the Sous and Head Chef to deliver consistently high standards of food. You’ll be given opportunities to develop your skills, and encouraged to bring your passion to the plate.

- Ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality at all times
- Supporting chefs and maintaining high kitchen standards
- Following kitchen procedures, including health & safety and cleanliness
