About the Role
Are you an experienced People & Culture leader who thrives on partnering with senior leaders, building team capability and translating strategy into practical, people-focused outcomes?
The BUSY Group is seeking a People & Culture Business Partnering Manager to lead our business partnering function and deliver strategic and operational people solutions that strengthen organisational capability, leadership effectiveness and employee experience.
Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, senior leaders and the broader People & Culture team, you will lead a proactive, trusted and data-informed partnering model across the organisation.
This role will support workforce planning, organisational change, employee relations, leadership capability, wellbeing, inclusion and culture across Australian and global operating environments.
What your week might look like...
- Lead and continuously improve the People & Culture business partnering model to deliver consistent, practical and value-adding support.
- Provide leadership, coaching and development to People & Culture team members, building capability, accountability and service excellence.
- Partner with leaders to identify workforce trends, people risks and capability needs, and develop practical solutions aligned to organisational priorities.
- Support complex people matters, organisational change, employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and culture initiatives.
- Develop tools, frameworks, reporting and insights that strengthen manager capability and support workforce planning and strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to contemporary, compliant and practical People & Culture policies, frameworks and practices.
This role is permanent full time based from our Southport Head Office.

Skills And Experiences
A bit about you...
- You are a contemporary People & Culture professional with strong business partnering experience, sound judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
You build trusted relationships, use data and insights to inform decisions, and are confident supporting leaders through change, workforce planning, performance, engagement and employee relations matters.
- You will bring relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Psychology, Employee Relations or a related discipline, together with extensive experience in People & Culture business partnering.
- Experience in a not-for-profit, social impact, education, employment services or purpose-led organisation would be highly regarded, as would experience working across global, matrixed or diverse operating environments.
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HR technology systems.
- Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a proven track record of driving change and continuous improvement, ideally in an employment or community services setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check with no outcomes
