About the role: BUSY At Work is seeking an experienced and supportive Mentor to work alongside early childhood graduate teachers as they transition from study into the workforce. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, workforce development, and supporting people at pivotal moments in their careers. Working as part of a mentoring team, you will support new graduate early childhood teachers to become job-ready and confident as they enter the sector. Your role will focus on practical guidance, connection, and compliance within the scholarship program framework.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting graduates with resume and cover letter development
  • Assisting graduates to prepare for and secure employment
  • Connecting graduates to professional networks, services, and agencies
  • Verifying employment documentation in line with program guidelines
  • Working collaboratively with another Mentor to deliver consistent, high-quality support

This is a Full Time - Fixed Term role based in our Southport office offering flexibility and purpose in a supportive, values-driven environment.

About you: Experience in program administration and system operations is highly desirable. You will also bring excellent communication skills. A genuine interest in mentoring and workforce development. You’re organized, approachable, and confident working within guidelines while still providing personalized support. An understanding of the early childhood employment sector is desirable, however not mandatory.
