About the Role

Are you passionate about good governance, ethical conduct and building strong organisational risk capability? The BUSY Group is seeking a Governance and Risk Support Officer to play a key role in supporting our Enterprise Risk Management Framework and fostering a proactive, positive risk culture across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on collaboration, problem‑solving and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the Group to strengthen resilience, enhance assurance activities and support informed decision‑making that safeguards organisational objectives. You’ll be involved in:

  • Enterprise Risk Support — maintain risk registers, support risk assessments and workshops, and help identify emerging risks.
  • Monitoring & Assurance — deliver risk‑based monitoring, review control effectiveness, document findings and track treatment actions.
  • Business Continuity & Resilience — support BCP development, critical function identification and resilience testing activities.
  • Fraud & Corruption Prevention — assist with prevention initiatives, identify high‑risk areas and contribute to ethical conduct awareness.
  • Modern Slavery Risk — support due diligence, risk assessments and ethical sourcing, and contribute to the annual Modern Slavery Statement.
  • Risk Culture & Capability — promote risk awareness, develop practical tools and support teams to apply risk processes.
  • Governance Support — assist with governance projects, reporting, special initiatives and uphold child safety and organisational values.

This is a part-time role working 19.5 hours in our Southport office.

Skills And Experiences

What You’ll Bring

Joining ahigh‑performing Governance & Risk team that champions accountability, transparency and ethical practice we are looking for:

  • Risk & governance experience across assurance, compliance or audit
  • Understanding of risk frameworks including ISO 31000 and control assessment
  • Knowledge of resilience disciplines such as business continuity, fraud, corruption and modern slavery
  • Ability to interpret requirements across legislation, regulation and policy
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication for reports and governance documentation
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship building
  • Organised and tech‑confident with Microsoft Office and risk/governance systems
  • Facilitation capability for workshops and discussions
  • Proactive, adaptable and ethical approach aligned with BUSY Group values
