BUSY Ability is part of The BUSY Group, a not-for-profit organisation with over 47 years' experience in its field. BUSY Ability enables people with a disability and those with a lived experience of the justice system to realise their full potential through participation in meaningful employment, engaging in communities across Northern NSW, ACT, Victoria, North QLD, South East QLD including Gold Coast and Brisbane.
The purpose of this position is to lead, manage and foster a supportive work environment with teams over multiple locations. This role is a key player in the Ex-Offenders program across the Gold Coast region. The Business Manager is tasked with fostering a supportive and encouraging culture to assist our consultants in building strong community networks and relationships to assist in the jobseeker journey toward employment opportunities. You will ensure jobseekers, clients and stakeholders receive quality service provision, and will work with the Operations Manager to ensure that BUSY Ability exceeds Government key performance indicators and contractual obligations. This role is a full-time fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027 with potential for extension, based out of our Southport Nind St office.

Skills And Experiences:
- Lead, coach and develop Employment Consultants and Work Support Consultants to achieve sustainable employment outcomes
- Drive performance across all sites, ensuring KPI targets, placement outcomes and service standards are consistently exceeded
- Oversee service delivery, workflow and customer experience across multiple locations
- Ensure full contractual compliance with Employment Services requirements, including audits, quality standards and documentation
- Manage financial performance including forecasting, budgeting and achieving region profitability targets
- Recruit, induct and onboard new team members and manage performance through regular coaching and the Managing for Excellence framework
- Build strong relationships with Services Australia, local employers and community partners
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check
- Open drivers licence
