Project Manager – SCRUM Master We are exclusively partnering with an emerging technology developer based in Ely on their latest recruitment drive which will see the company double in size. A startup, in R&D stage, financially backed by a wider global organisation, that innovates and creates exceptional products, technologies and services that will improve the lives of people while collaborating with some of the UK’s leading research-intensive universities. Within walking distance of Ely train station this role is accessible from both London and Cambridge within 1 hour. The successful candidate will be at the centre of a high-performance R&D Team that operates under the core SCRUM principles. Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday (option to work from home on Wednesdays) Hourly Rate / Salary: Above market rate to secure best talent! Duties: * Clearly identify and layout project requirements, delivery timelines, costs and compliances * Develop detailed project plans as a guide for staff members and project teams * Actively revise and enhance projects based on changing needs and requirements * Identify & assign project tasks based on skill sets, experiences & strengths of team members * Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery of projects * Compiling and submitting project status reports * Support management in the technical, commercial evaluation & appraisal of the business * Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices * Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organisation * Resolve conflicts and issues that occur What we are looking for from you: * Ability to create a central source of truth for your work and your team’s work * Ability or skill to solve problems collaboratively by approaching it through new perspectives * Ability to approach problems logically (critical thinking) * Ability to analyse and think quickly and to resolve conflict * Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum * Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not * Experience with successful Agile techniques * Ability to work with and lead a team * Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills * Ability to adapt to a changing environment * Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction * 5+ years of full life cycle experience in R&D of Commercial Products and Technologies If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
