Plumbers Mate/Handy Person If you have experience of working within a Field-Based Service, within experience in a plumbing or multi trader role, then this could be a great fit for you! You will need to have at least 2 years’ experience within a plumbing or multi trader role and hold a relevant qualification to back this up. Working in an interesting and exciting industry you will get to work on site and some well-known recognised brands across the UK. You will be required on occasions to take part in the on-call rota for breakdowns and emergencies which would be paid and travel within the role will be required. Start: ASAP Location: Nationwide Salary: Up to £30,000 (Overtime paid above 39 hours) Hours: 39 hours a week with generous overtime Duration: Permanent Benefits: Van and fuel card. 25 days holiday , 7% employer pension contribution, Annual personal review, Seasonal flu jabs, Employee assistance programme, Wide range of development and training, Team building events, Income Protection Scheme Duties: * Carry out adhoc projects as directed by the Leak Detection manager. * Carry out leak detection jobs covering all regions as required. * Progressing outstanding estimates * Arranging meetings with prospective customers * Attending seminars and visits * Ensures Polygon IT system is completed correctly, in line with quality procedures. * Help technicians with technical problems regarding leak detection and provide. * coaching where necessary * Together with Leak Detection Manager – turnover and profit * Ensuring the equipment is serviced correctly in line with quality procedures. * Purchasing requirements * Attending meetings as directed by the Leak Detection Manager * Liaising with customers * Assisting with project design * Development of new techniques together with the Leak Detection Manager * Ensuring Company and quality procedures are adhered to by the restoration. * technicians * Moisture surveys and writing technical reports. * Calibration and repair work to all Leak Detection equipment * Trace & Access of hidden pipe work Skills and Experience * Technical skills – psychometrics * Electrical * Building / DIY * Ability to deal with customers under stress. * Customer care If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
