Location: Newmarket, Suffolk
Hours: 08:00am – 16:30pm Monday-Friday. 2x 15 minute paid breaks & 1 30 minute unpaid lunch break per day
Hourly Rate: Starting from £12.50 DOE with increase after 12 week probation
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
We are looking for multiple people to join the business where you will use your previous experience within a Manufacturing setting. Full training will be provided but ideally you will have experience working with power tools, have strong attention to detail and a good understanding of health and safety.
Job Duties:
- Using power tools including nail guns and drills to assemble product
- Accurately cutting materials using power saws
- Following health and safety within a workshop environment
- Undertake quality checks
- Working towards daily company targets
- Ensuring workshop is kept clean and tidy
What we are looking for:
- Manufacturing/Production experience essential
- Previous experience operating a Forklift is desirable
- Previous experience working with wood machines
- Experience operating power tools
- You must have strong communication skills
- Compliant with companies’ health and safety policies
- You must be physically fit as heavy lifting is required
