Are you ready to dive into an exciting role? Ready to join a fast paced and quality driven team? We are seeking a skilled Inventory Controller to join our client’s team. This role is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and experience within the Industrial industry.
What you will be doing:
- Conducting regular component stock cycle counts as part of the audit program for the Tables Business Unit.
- Investigating stock discrepancies and implementing effective stock reconciliation actions.
- Collaborating with Logistics and Production teams on LEAN manufacturing initiatives to optimise storage solutions and reduce stock variants.
- Producing monthly reports on stock accuracy and stock ‘write-off’ performance.
- Delivering and reviewing training for Business Unit employees to ensure best practices in stock handling and transactional processes.
- Managing and reviewing scrap allowances, providing guidance and training as required.
- Working with Logistics, Purchasing, and Planning teams to ensure strong visual inventory controls and best-practice stock management systems.
What you’ll need:
- Experience of working in a manufacturing inventory control position with responsibility for maintaining high levels of stock accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Positive contribution to multi-departmental initiatives and process improvements.
- Ability to multitask, time manage and work independently.
- Good communication skills.
