CNC Machinist 3 Axis, 5-Axis, Lathes, Milling centres, Programmes, Precision, Manual & Tolerances. These are words you’re familiar with, correct? Then maybe your next position is right here. Our client is seeking an efficient and reliable individual to join their machine shop team, you will be providing precision machined components for production and Engineering. Working with state of the art machines within a new purpose built manufacturing site. Requirements * Experience working with micron level precision. * An understanding of how to operate Fanuc based vertical Milling machines. * Previous experience working with CNC Lathes. * Some programming experience and effective machine setting to optimise cycle times. * Knowledge of basic programming experiences desirable * An Understanding of engineering drawings. * Must have a good attention to detail and ability to multi-task * Strong teamwork skills required along with the ability to work independently * Basic Microsoft Office application skills. The Role * Set up jigs and operate various CNC machines including but not limited to CNC milling centres and CNC lathes. * Support production needs for precision in-house machined components. * Adhere to drawing tolerances and specifications and within the required timescales. * Assist CNC programmers to produce prototype components for the engineering teams as required. * Utilise the most appropriate CNC or manual machine. * Ensure quality of components produced meets requirements by taking accurate measurements and using inspection tools. * Perform weekly machine maintenance and 5S Tasks.
