Assistant Farm Manager Location: Horsham St Faith Hours: Working hours will be approximately 7.00am – 15:30pm, Monday to Thursday 7.00am – 14:30pm Friday and alternate weekends. This hands-on role involves helping to ensure the highest standards of bird welfare and strict adherence to biosecurity protocols. Job Duties: * Handle all aspects of poultry production while ensuring top animal welfare. * Perform daily feeding, bedding, ventilation control, and welfare checks with accurate record-keeping. * Work safely, follow health and safety standards, and maintain company policies. * Report repairs, supply shortages, and carry out site inspections as needed. * Maintain cleanliness and biosecurity to protect flock health. * Be reliable, team-oriented, and willing to work weekends. * Support the Farm Manager and act as deputy when required. * Continuously seek ways to improve farm operations and animal care.
