Digital Marketing Executive
- Full time, Hybrid (1–2 days office, central Edinburgh)

Busy B is a well-loved Edinburgh-based stationery brand, creating beautiful diaries, calendars, notebooks and journals sold via our website, Amazon, Faire, and retailers including John Lewis and Waterstones. With sales of £2.5m, this is an exciting chance to make a real impact in a small, creative, and friendly team.
We’re looking for someone highly organised, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about product development. You’ll be resourceful, software-literate, and thrive in a collaborative environment, supporting the Sales and Marketing Director and wider team.
Ideally you’ll bring 2+ years’ experience in an ecommerce or digital marketing background, have developed strong Excel skills and a knack for creating engaging visual and written content on site and for our social channels.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Brand
- Manage seasonal photoshoots and creative campaigns.
- Create digital content and copy for emails, social, SEO, and product listings.
- Ensure brand consistency and support PR, influencers, and affiliates.
Ecommerce & Website
- Deliver digital plans and site updates.
- Lead website development and merchandising to maximise performance.
- Manage updates and errors on consumer/trade Magento sites, eBay, and new marketplaces.
- Create promotional offers and ensure accurate T&Cs.
- Liaise with agencies and warehouse on product launches.
CRM & Performance Marketing
- Own our CRM strategy, email marketing, and automation journeys.
- Cleanse and grow the database; test and optimise email layouts.
- Plan and manage monthly performance marketing budget aligned to ROAS goals
Shared Responsibilities
- Provide customer service via social and inbox.
- Identify growth opportunities and assist with market/product research.
- Attend training/workshops and support general admin during quieter periods.

- Commercially aware with a good grasp of products, pricing, and market trends
- Proactive and accountable, always following tasks through

- Confident using Magento, Excel, Photoshop and Canva
