OverviewWe are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join our friendly and talented team and play a key role in shaping the development of the brand online.
Busy B is an Edinburgh‑based stationery brand creating diaries, calendars, notebooks and journals sold through our website, Amazon, Faire and retailers including John Lewis and Waterstones.
Role DetailsDigital Marketing Executive – 6‑Month Contract (with potential to extend).
Responsibilities- Create and update digital content across the Busy B website, email, social channels and marketplaces, developing the seasonal marketing plan, ensuring product information, imagery and copy are accurate and on‑brand.
- Deliver e‑commerce trading, including site merchandising, product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotions and day‑to‑day website updates.
- Plan, build and deliver CRM/email campaigns, including briefing creative, setting up sends, testing, segmentation, reporting and helping grow the customer database.
- Help manage performance marketing activity across paid search, paid social and other digital channels, working with agencies where needed on the site and paid ads and tracking results against commercial goals.
- Coordinate with internal team, agencies and partners to keep digital activity accurate, timely and aligned with brand, sales and product priorities.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in e‑commerce, digital marketing or a similar role.
- Experience with e‑commerce platforms (Magento preferred), email marketing (Klaviyo preferred), Meta, GA4 reporting, Canva and Awin.
- Experience with Google AdWords a plus.
- Confidence across website updates, email marketing, content creation and reporting.
- Experience liaising with and supporting external web and paid media agencies and freelancers.
- Highly organised and efficient, excellent attention to detail and good Excel skills.
- Commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently.
- Creative, collaborative and happy to get stuck in with a small, hands‑on team.
Initial 6‑month contract (ideally from August) with potential to extend.
3 to 5 days per week, depending on the support needed and the person’s skill set.
