Are you a natural networker who knows exactly how to turn a great book into high-impact PR coverage? Then keep reading… We are looking for an experienced Publicity Manager to become the champion for Sourcebooks and Canelo authors and titles across a range of genres spanning fiction, narrative non-fiction and children's.

You'll use your proven expertise and experience to lead sales-driving publicity campaigns. We need someone who loves building high-impact media campaigns, securing traditional and digital coverage, planning and executing book tours, and nurturing deep relationships with journalists, festivals, and bookshops.

Reporting directly to the Campaigns Director, you will take full ownership of end-to-end publicity campaigns. A typical week will see you:

  • Writing compelling press releases and building bespoke publicity plans that secure print, broadcast, podcast, and online coverage.
  • Pitching across the full lists to journalists, bookshops, literary festivals, and event partners to grow massive awareness for our authors.
  • Managing relationships with authors and agents, providing them with top-tier support, guidance, and interview prep.
  • Working extensively with our Sales and Editorial teams, as well as the Sourcebooks US team, to provide proactive internal and external updates.
  • Developing long-term strategy for our brand authors, pitching for serial rights, and independently managing your campaign budgets with a sharp eye.
