The Role:
Reporting to the Vice President Sales (NEUSCME), the Regional Sales Manager will own and drive B2B sales performance across the UK and DACH region, with particular emphasis on architect and designer (A&D) specification. The Regional Sales Manager must be fully entrenched in the brand and have a deep understanding of the technical and functional aspects of all products and categories brought to market. You will be hands-on, leading and managing the sales team while remaining actively involved in training, presenting, pitching and selling.
The Regional Sales Manager will be comfortable working in a multi-channel business, overseeing B2B while supporting and identifying synergies across B+P staff, including how to maximise sales with B2B e-commerce accounts/sites and managing promotional periods (e.g. Black Friday sales).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver agreed annual revenue and margin targets across the UK and DACH regions.
- Own and grow the A&D specification pipeline, strengthening brand presence with key architects, designers and project stakeholders across residential, hospitality and commercial sectors.
- Lead, develop and retain a high-performing regional sales team, setting clear objectives, coaching performance and fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.
- Develop and execute a strategic regional sales growth plan, translating long-term objectives into annual operating plans, budgets and sales programmes.
- Forecast sales performance and SKU demand for product launches and ongoing trading, ensuring accurate planning and stock optimisation.
- Build and maintain strong industry relationships, leveraging the London showroom as the European flagship space for presentations, events and partner engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product and Leadership teams to deliver local sales and marketing initiatives, merchandising standards and promotional activity.
- Identify and capitalise on new business and market opportunities in partnership with the Head of UK/EMEA Sales and VP Sales (NEUSCME).
- Provide clear, regular reporting to senior leadership on market conditions, performance vs budget, pipeline health, risks, opportunities and operational challenges.
Skills & Experience:
- Fluent in German (written and spoken), with professional working proficiency for client-facing sales, presentations and negotiations.
- Strong background in the A&D (Architects & Designers) channel, with demonstrable experience driving specification-led sales within premium interior, architectural hardware, lighting, electrical accessories or related design-led categories.
- Typically 3-5 yearsβ experience in a relevant A&D-focused sales role, with evidence of delivering growth through specification and relationship-led selling.
- Proven regional sales leadership experience, including business development, onboarding and management of major accounts, and direct leadership of a sales team.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing regional P&L performance, forecasting, margins and profitability across territories, products and customers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence internally and externally at all levels.
- Highly organised and analytical, with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to manage complexity in a multi-market environment.
- Approachable, credible leadership style that promotes high morale, accountability and collaboration across teams.
- Existing industry relationships within the A&D, interior design or specification community across the UK and/or DACH region would be advantageous.
