About the Role
We are currently seeking a committed Residential Property Fee Earner (Solicitor/Legal Executive/Licensed Conveyancer) in Tunbridge Wells office to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day matters on behalf of clients in all property conveyancing matters including freehold, leasehold, new builds, shared ownership and land transactions.
- Regularly liaise with estate agents and financial advisors.
- Explain complex legal matters to clients in an understandable manner.
- Oversee financial control, including cashflow management, collection of monies on account, and billing procedures.
- Provide accurate and timely conveyancing quotations.
- Meet agreed targets for time recording, billing, and cost recovery.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure high standards of client care are exercised in a professional and pleasant manner at all times.
- Participate in marketing activities and leverage networking and business development opportunities.
- Experience in commercial property is advantageous but not essential.
Qualifications
- Solicitor/Licensed conveyancer/Legal Executive with 1 year + PQE
- Proven experience in property conveyancing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism and client care
