The predicted salary is between 16151 - 24967 £ per year.

You will join a team of lecturers responsible for delivering education in Further Education and/or Higher Education on Health and Social Care and Childcare courses. Approximately 200 students study bilingually within the Health and Care Department across the two campuses in Dolgellau and Pwllheli. We offer Level 2 and Level 3 courses, an Access to Higher Education (Health Care) course, L4 to L6 Health and Social Care courses, and the Welsh Baccalaureate.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach on the Further Education and/or Higher Education courses in line with their area of expertise. Our department’s success is measured by the high-quality teaching we provide to our learners. In the Summer 2025 Health and Social Care A-Level results, our students achieved a 100% success rate, often attaining grades above national comparators.

  • Salary: £16,151.86 – £24,967.09 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
  • Place of Work: Pwllheli
  • Holiday Entitlement: 46 days leave per annum. All normally observed public holidays, determined annually. Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually. Part-time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above.
  • Working Pattern: 18.5 hours per week, 417.5 hours annual teaching time – 12 to 13 hours teaching per week – up to 2.5 hours per week working off-site in agreement with manager.
