Job Purpose
Under the general guidance of lecturing staff the Practical Skills Supervisor will deliver practical sessions to groups of learners within a practical workshop and will provide support to lecturers by monitoring and assessing learner progress, providing guidance and support where required.
Typically the Full time Practical Skills Supervisor will be timetabled for up to 1000 hours in each academic year for direct contact with learners and with a minimum of 500 hours per annum of class supervision in a practical workshop setting.

Salary: £19.86 – £21.19 per hour inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Place of Work: Llangefni
Holiday Entitlement: There will be an entitlement to pro rata paid holiday in each academic year (1st September to 31st August), which includes pro-rata entitlement of 8 Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in Wales and a pro-rata entitlement of up to 5 efficiency days (please note this can change annually). Annual leave is derived from a pro rata full time equivalent entitlement of 28 days (rising to 32 days after 5 full holiday years’ continuous service) which is included in the hourly rate paid.
Working Pattern: 15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (during the college term-term time). The work pattern will be agreed with the successful applicant.
Pension Rights: Local Government Pension Scheme.
Contract Type: Part Time Hourly Paid.
