We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Professional Tutor (Education) to contribute to our Further Education PGCE programme. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, design effective learning opportunities, and support all learners in achieving their full potential. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development as a lecturer, supported by a dedicated team of Programme Leaders, Coordinators, and Mentors who oversee provision within the department.
Key responsibilities include:
- The preparation and delivery of engaging and intellectually stimulating lectures.
- Associated administrative, assessment, and quality assurance duties.
- Promoting the use of practical, innovative, and student-centred teaching approaches to enhance the learning experience.
- Drawing upon professional experience to enrich teaching and learning, enabling students to develop a comprehensive understanding and appreciation of the responsibilities, challenges, and rewards associated with a career in industry.
Job Details:
- Salary: £20,429 – £31,579 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
- Place of Work: BANGOR RHYL RHO(S)-ON-SEA.
- Holiday Entitlement: 46 days leave per annum, including public holidays and up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum.
- Working Pattern: 22.5 hours per week, with 508 hours annual teaching time.
- Pension Rights: Teachers Pension Scheme.
- Contract Type: Part Time Permanent.
