Our Sixth Form centres offer education of the highest quality. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team to deliver to a high standard and enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability. Our colleges are part of the Welsh Government Seren Network scheme designed to support the most able to realise their full academic potential and progress to the best Universities.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach at the Pwllheli campus on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and the Dolgellau campus on Thursdays and Fridays. Our ideal candidate would have previous teaching experience. However, we also welcome subject experts who are looking to take their first steps into teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high standards of teaching and learning and provide ongoing support, advice and guidance that promotes learner success. We would like to work with you to develop your professional skills in order to offer learners the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching to a high standard in order to create effective learning opportunities and to enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability.
- Provide excellent extracurricular experiences for our learners.
- Maintain the high standards of the provision with the support given to the learners.
- Ensure that the Grwp's policies and procedures are followed.
- Supporting learners to succeed in order to achieve their targets and higher, by stretching and challenging our learners.

- Holiday Entitlement: 46 days leave per annum; All normally observed public holidays, determined annually; Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually.
- Working Pattern: 37 hours per week; 835 hours annual teaching time – 24 to 26 hours teaching per week; Up to 5 hours per week working off site in agreement with manager.
